Johnny Weaver Bio:
Prior to his role as the Director for the Washington State Campaign for Liberty, Johnny was a volunteer for the Ron Paul Campaign in 2008, acting as a Senatorial District Coordinator. While in living Austin, Texas he assisted with organization of multiple Liberty groups, operations, and events. Johnny is a founding member of Texans for Accountable Government (T.A.G. PAC) that continues to keep the Liberty issues top of topic in Texas.
While an active member of student government, Johnny utilized higher education as a tool to organize Liberty Youth Groups. He initiated and coordinated student events that empowered youth and grassroots activists to be effective in politics. Johnny organized groups that testified at State Capitol legislative hearings in both Texas and Washington State. He founded the Transportation Safety Coalition in Washington State, served as Campaign Director and spokesperson for the successful anti-red light camera campaign.
Nationally syndicated talk radio hosts have invited Johnny for multiple interviews and panel discussions. Additional political experience includes walking door to door, initiating and coordinating large phone banks and assistance candidates for election to local, state, and federal office. While focusing on privacy rights, he continues to lobby representatives regarding all liberty issues, and is an active volunteer and participant in strengthening transparency and accountability.
His strengths include project management, logistical strategy, strategic coalitions/community organizing, lean operational practices, and marketing. Johnny also has film experience assisting and producing public access television in Austin, Texas.
